Following the conclusion of the Life Time Grand Prix 2024, in which Keegan Swenson and Sofia Gomez Villafane revalidated their titles as champions of the series, preparations for the 2025 season begin, with the opening of registrations for one of the most prestigious gravel races in the world: the UNBOUND.
The draw for the Life Time Unbound Gravel 2025 will be open from November 1 to 15, and the results will be announced on November 21.
Participants will be able to choose from five distances. The longest, the 350-mile (563 km) Unbound Gravel XL, will be held on Friday, May 30 in downtown Emporia, while the 25-mile (40 km), 50-mile (80 km), 100-mile (161 km) and 200-mile (322 km) distances will depart on May 31 from the same point. While exact routes will be revealed at a later date, in 2025 all distances will once again be oriented northward through the iconic Flint Hills.
Life Time Club members with a subscription of at least six months will have early access to registration before the general opening of the lottery.
Also new for 2025 is that the Unbound Gravel 200 will offer a prize money of $30,000, which will be divided equally between the men's and women's categories.
For this season, Life Time also introduces a additional option to ensure that more riders join the select group that will compete for the prizes. To qualify for these spots, participants must express their interest during the registration process and compete in the first two events of the series: the Sea Otter Classic and the UNBOUND. The results obtained in these events will determine which three men and three women will receive a special invitation.
