Life Time has confirmed that it will offer free, live coverage of UNBOUND Gravel this year, next Saturday, May 31. This is a first for UNBOUND, although just a few days ago we also saw a trilingual broadcast during The Traka.
The program, which lasts almost seven hours, will be broadcast live on the official YouTube channel of Life Time Grand Prix starting at 10:00 a.m. CT (5:00 p.m. CEST). It will begin with a preview to give viewers some context, before giving way to non-stop coverage of the men's and women's elite races, which will also include post-race interviews.
The commentary team will feature top-level figures. Payson McElveen, absent due to injury, will be in the booth alongside the American cycling legend Meredith Miller and the former professional and veteran narrator Bill Elliston. From the course, live reports will be provided by a Mountain Bike Hall of Fame member. Nat Ross and of the also former professional Lauren Hall.

“With real-time narration, expert commentary, and a connected global audience, we want to make this iconic race more accessible and exciting.”
— Kimo Seymour, senior vice president of media and events at Life Time

Keegan Swenson and Sofia Gomez Villafañe They demonstrated their dominance once again at the series' inaugural event, the Life Time Sea Otter Classic Gravel, but a strong field of athletes will be looking for victory in Kansas. Among them, Rosa Klöser —who is returning to defend his 2024 title— and the Belgian Thomas De Gendt, stage winner in all three Grand Tours, who will be making his debut in this race. The men's title will be vacated following the decision of the 2024 champion, Lachlan Morton, to participate this year in the XL category.

In addition, the race will be the closing stage of the new Wild Card, an initiative launched in 2025 that offers emerging athletes the opportunity to enter the Life Time Grand Prix rankings. Click here HERE for more information about the Wild Card.
