La Manchuela Gravel: community, gastronomy, and gravel

The third edition of La Manchuela Gravel will be held on June 7, 2025, starting in Casas Ibáñez, Albacete. This year, some 350 cyclists are expected, coming from more than 28 Spanish provinces, as well as Andorra, Portugal, Denmark, and Switzerland. inscriptions are still open.


Cyclists such as Joan Bou (Caja Rural) and several former professionals will be present in this edition: Marta Romeu, Javier Benítez, Javier Abeja (Spanish gravel champion in his category), Dani Moreno (winner of several stages in the Vuelta a España and Spanish gravel champion in his category) and Joan Horrach (winner of a stage in the Giro d'Italia and world gravel champion last year in his category).

THREE ROUTES

  • 50 km with 450 m of accumulated elevation gain
  • 90 km with 800 m of accumulated elevation gain
  • 110 km with 1,300 m of accumulated elevation gain

The route passes through: Fuentealbilla, Abengibre, Bormate, Ribera de Cubas, Jorquera, La Recueja, Alcalá del Júcar, Tolosa, the Molinar reservoir, Villa de Ves, Casas de Ves and Alborea.


It's a race without a competitive spirit. The goal is different: to discover the territory and share the miles. Great atmosphere, good food, and good trails.

Each participant will receive a personalized jersey, a welcome bag, a race number with their name on it, and a finisher's medal. Upon crossing the finish line, gazpacho, a cold drink, and music for those who want to extend their day.

Everything is carefully thought out. And it shows.
