The largest Sea Otter Europe in history: 500 brands, 65,000 visitors and 6,000 riders

The Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava-Girona by Continental will land in Girona on the 20th, 21st and 22nd of September. The festival has earned the right to be one of the most important international fairs in the sector, represented by a record number of 500 exhibiting brands. During the same dates, the Euro Mobility Festival returns with its commitment to creating an environment dedicated to sustainable urban mobility.

The sports section stands out for its huge range of activities: 12 events in all cycling disciplines – XCO, XCM, XCE, XCC, DH, e-MTB, trial, gravel and road – in a combination of competitive races and recreational outings.

The Trek UCI Gravel World Series is the main attraction; a race that is part of the select group of races that give access to the World Championship. Matej Mohoric will wear the rainbow jersey on a day that will also feature Alejandro Valverde, Iván García Cortina, Alison Jackson, Tiago Ferreira, Aicia Gonzalez, Samuel Sánchez, Miguel Induráin, Letizia Borghesi and Alain Prost.

The exhibition centre (Pavelló de Fontajau) is expected to welcome 65,000 visitors and 3,000 professionals, spread over 298 stands, 42,000 square metres of exhibition space and 80,000 square metres of exhibition space. Manufacturers have already announced that they will take advantage of the occasion to launch new products on the market.

Demobike will be back again and will once again be one of the activities that will receive the most support from the public. A total of 35 brands will make their products –among which there are more than 500 bikes- available to any visitor, who will have 9 circuits to test them.

Following last year's success, Sea Otter Europe Connect is back with more muscle than in the previous edition. A space to discuss and analyse business strategies in the bicycle industry. It is based on two thematic days that will feature a total of 13 presentations by experts.

Sea Otter Europe is entering its eighth edition with the certainty of being one of the most important events for the global cycling industry and with the desire to meet the high expectations that have been generated.
