Karo Migoń (PAR Racing) has won UNBOUND 2025, achieving a historic double as the first rider to win both La Traka 360 and UNBOUND 200. The Polish rider, who had already conquered Gravel Locos just a week ago, thus consolidates a great run on the international gravel calendar.

Wildcard rider Cameron Jones (Scott-Shimano) put in a masterful performance after breaking away from the field with Simon Pellaud (Tudor Pro Cycling) two and a half hours into the race. Together, they opened up an insurmountable gap to the rest of the pack.

In addition to the high level of sporting excellence, the 2025 edition of Unbound will also be a testing ground for important new developments in cycling equipment. As is customary at major events like this, the race will become a showcase of prototypes and debuts, and everything points to a veritable avalanche of visual and technical innovations this weekend.

The list of favorites for this year's Unbound 200 women's title is probably one of the strongest of the entire international season.

Talking about favorites in the men's Unbound 200 is almost an impossible task. The level of this edition is so high and so open that any list will inevitably be incomplete. Even so, we highlight a few names who, due to their form, track record, or ability to surprise, are real contenders.

The city of Emporia, Kansas, will once again host Unbound 2025, an event that has set the pace for nearly two decades. The flagship race, the Unbound 200, will be the second stop of the Life Time Grand Prix… New developments, sky-high expectations, and a start list that confirms the exciting momentum this sport is experiencing.

Beyond the results, this edition provided many clues to understanding the direction of the La Traka phenomenon, and by extension, gravel. Here are seven reflections.

Johnston broke away from runner-up Tasman Nankervis before the halfway point of the 106km course, finishing with a 3 minute, 10 second lead. Nankervis finished second, while Scott Bowden completed the podium. Reigning national champion Mark O'Brien finished fourth, and Sam Fox rounded out the top five. Johnston's average speed for the event was 31.1 km/h.

The UCI Gravel World Series made a stop in the Netherlands this weekend with the Valkenburg race, which featured a strong showing from some of the biggest names in international cycling, especially top World Tour and road racers, who are increasingly entering the gravel discipline. Furthermore, the Marly Grav Race has established itself as the largest UCI Gravel World Series event in Europe, with more than 2,500 participants.
